1/30/06 "Bigger, Better then ever before! World Drag Expo to Double in Size" - The   twelfth   annual World   Drag Expo   will be held on   January   20-21, 2007 at   the   brand new Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center. All in one hall, the Expo will have space to grow, something we haven't had for three years at the the Pheasant Run Megacenter. And it's all still the same kind of resort atmosphere as we've had at Pheasant Run. The Renaissance Hotel is connected to the Convention Center, and includes swimming pools, lounges, restaurants, bars, and plenty of space to sit and bench race with friends. This was very important to us, as we wanted to keep the families coming to the expo together. Additionally, there are 88 restaurants, an ESPN Zone, the Woodfield Mall, and much more within a mile of the center for plenty to do and see.
A new addition to the twelfth annual World Drag Expo will be a Car Corral, a place to sell your car at a reasonable price. Watch this space for further information to be announced shortly.

   1/30/06 " 2006 Expo a huge success" -   Record numbers of racers packed the Pheasant   Run Megacenter in St. Charles, IL., on January   28 -29, for the eleventh annual World Drag   Expo. Happy exhibitors commented, "We ran   out of product early this year... I had to go to   the shop and get more literature on Saturday   night... Wish I had brought more product to   sell" and more were just some of the comments heard in the aisles on Sunday afternoon. Attendees enjoyed such seminars as "More Consistent ET's through Carburetor Calibration by Marvin Benoit of Quick Fuel Technology," "The knack to Win," by Tami Eggelston,PhD, "Top Ten Tip for Getting a Sponsorship," by Mike Trittle, Drag News Magazine and "The secrets of Successful Bracket Racing," by Brett Kepner. On Sunday, "Know your Racing Transmission and the Technology behind it," by Charlie McCormick of ATD rounded out another day of seminars. The World Drag Expo will return in 2007 with a brand new location.
